ABOUT

Ciao! I'm Francesca

and I am originally from Tuscany, Italy.

Since I was a child, I have felt a deep connection with nature and animals. I was fascinated by the sound of waves crashing on the shore, the vastness of the starry sky, and the peacefulness of sitting in the forest with my eyes closed, simply listening to the sounds around me. I love rainy and windy days just as much as sunny ones, appreciating the beauty and lessons that each season brings.

Eastern traditions teach us about the balance of yin and yang, reminding us that life is a dance between action and stillness, effort and surrender. Learning when to pause and recharge, and when to move forward, is an essential part of living in harmony with ourselves.

In my twenties, I began exploring holistic practices to cultivate greater balance and well-being. This path led me to kinesiology, qi gong, Reiki, sound healing, and eventually yoga. From the moment I stepped onto the mat, I was captivated by yoga's ability to create a deeper connection between body, mind, and emotions. Through the practice, I learned not only to move, but to listen.

What began as a personal journey soon became a calling to share these teachings with others. After years of travelling, I settled in Aotearoa New Zealand, where I completed over 500 hours of Yoga Alliance teacher training in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. My studies have continued to expand through a 50-hour Yin Yoga training, a 30-hour Restorative Yoga training, Myofascial Release training, and an 80-hour Yoga Nidra certification.

Alongside yoga, I am a Reiki Master (Level 3A), having completed all levels of Reiki training in New Zealand. I am passionate about the energetic and devotional aspects of these traditions and have also studied harmonium for Kirtan and the art of creating personalised malas.

Today, I teach weekly classes every Sunday at Flourish Yoga Studio in Takapuna and every Tuesday at CityFitness in Auckland's CBD. I also offer private one-on-one yoga and Reiki sessions in the comfort of your home. Whether through movement, breath, deep rest, meditation, or energy healing, my intention is to create a welcoming space where students can reconnect with themselves and find balance in everyday life. You can explore all available offerings in the Services section.

A recent period of study and immersion in India profoundly influenced my understanding of yoga and transformed the way I see life. Beyond the physical practice, it reminded me that yoga is ultimately a way of living — a path of presence, self-inquiry, compassion, and connection. The experience deepened my appreciation for simplicity, community, and the transformative power of consistent practice.

My journey continues to unfold with curiosity, gratitude, and humility. I am honoured to share what I have learned through Yogic View and to support others as they explore their own path of growth, healing, and self-discovery.

My intention:

To create a safe and welcoming space where students can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and cultivate balance through yoga, meditation, Yoga Nidra, and Reiki.
